Michael is very excited to be writing several concert hall commissions, which will have their premieres throughout 2014.
First there’s a new work for guitars called ‘Night Play’, composed for the newly formed, up-and-coming Accord Guitar Duo. Jiva Housden & George Savory-Tarlton make up this talented ensemble, and the work will explore constant shifts between the two guitars with much contrapuntal threading, lots of echo effects and hocketing!
